Kombi camping is our family owned Volkswagen Kombi hire business, our passion started back in 2007 when our first kombi was purchased, a 1966 Split Window kombi. This started an addiction which has led us to many more in the future. Gilbert is our first of many that we are going to be hiring out to the public to enjoy a bit of the Volkswagen lifestyle and experience the joy that comes with driving a Volkswagen Kombi. Gilbert our 1978 Volkswagen Kombi is a camping experience that you will never forget. Gilbert provides an experience that will exceed any camping trip you have had to date. Gilbert is equipped with everything essential for the perfect camping trip. We ensure the most relaxing trip by a super easy set up that anyone can complete to provide maximum time soaking up the incredible locations that Gilbert will take you too.
FAQ
Pick up and drop off times
Kombi Camping hires vehicles out by the day so when you hire our cars you have the whole day to use it. Pick up from around 9am and drop off around 9pm. For example 2 days hire is equivalent to picking a kombi up on a Friday morning and returning on Saturday night.
Location
We have 2 collection points that we use, one in Gawler East and another in Sandy Creek, South Australia.
Fuel
Our Kombis will be given to you with a full tank of 98 Unleaded, It is our policy that you return it with a full tank of 98 Unleaded.
Leaving your car with us
If you are a local and are driving to us to pick up one of our Volkswagens, we have secure parking to leave your car at for the trip.
Cancellation
10 days notice must be given to change the dates
30 days notice must be given for a full refund
