Kombi camping is a family owned Volkswagen Kombi hire business, originating in South Australia. Our passion started back in 2007 when our first kombi was purchased, a 1966 Split Window kombi. This sparked our love for Kombi’s and led us to opening Kombi Camping, to share the lifestyle and experience the joy that comes with driving a Volkswagen Kombi. 

 

We currently offer 4 classic vw's that we hire out to the public for your own camping experience.

 

Gilbert, our blue 1978 Volkswagen Kombi, is our first of many Kombi’s that we introduced to Kombi Camping. Gilbert is equipped with everything essential for the perfect camping trip. We ensure the most relaxing trip by a super easy set up that anyone can complete to provide maximum time soaking up the incredible locations that Gilbert will take you too.

 

Tucker is a green 1965 Volkswagen Beetle. Tucker is one of the most unique beetles in Australia, equiped for camping with a custom retro roof top tent and awning for all your camping needs. The experience you get when driving and sleeping in tucker is second to none.

Tucker is as versatile as they come, if camping isn't for you we offer Bugs n' Rugs which is a self drive picnic experience. Tucker will take you anywhere and everywhere, giving you that classic 60s experience. 

 

Daisy is a yellow 1975 Bay Window Kombi. She provides an experience that will exceed any camping trip you have had to date, with a fully equiped camping set up for any destination.

Nelson is our newest and most exciting kombi yet. Nelson is a 1973 westfalia kombi. A Westfalia is unique and very rare, the pop top and original camping cabinetry is what makes a westfalia. In Nelson you can sleep 2 adults and 2 small children in thanks to the poptop. Nelson is fully equiped to take you on the adventure of a lifetime that will be sure to be a conversation starter with the orange and white two tone paint.
